DAY 1: HANOI – BAC YEN – TA XUA
This morning, at 6:45am, our private driver and tour-guide will pick you up in Hanoi. You will arrive in Bac Yen district and have lunch at a local restaurant in the noontime.
After lunch, we continue our drive to Ta Xua town and check into Mua Tru hostel which is our overnight accommodation. Following some leisure times, we will drive to Hang Dong and visit the famed Dinosaur Spine in Ta Xua. The walk along the Spine is breathtaking while we can observe the most charming sunset and to hunt “Heaven of Cloud”. After the sunset moments, we get on the car and take our drive back to our hostel
Dinner time will be at our hostel and the famous black chicken hotpot will be served. Overnight at Mua Tru hostel.

DAY 2: TA XUA – MORNING JUNGLE WALK – TA XUA FOREST EDGE – CLOUD HUNTING
This morning, after having breakfast by the shack of local people next to the Dinosaur Spine trail (sticky rice/ grilled meat), we will depart Hang Dong for Chong Cha village. Chong Cha means the Po Mu forest in H'mong language. If the weather condition is good, you will be able to see the expecting “cloud paradise” over Taxua valley. This place used to be the oldest and largest Po Mu forest in the Northwest loop. After nearly 2km, you will pass through the ancient forest edge, reaching a small peak at the height of 1600m (higher than the Dinosaur Spine). From here, you will be able to have a view of the Dinosaur Spine amid the clouds.
Then, continue our short hike through the forest edge of Ta Xua, pass through huge trees that are 30-40 meters tall, and other plants such as mushrooms, orchids, etc. On the last path, you will trek further to Chong Cha village and see the overview of Ta Xua terrace rice fields dotted with H’mong villages.
We back to the main road at early noon, board our vehicle, and back to Ta Xua town for our lunch at a local restaurant. After lunchtime, we drive back and arrive in Hanoi at around 20:00. End of our services.
