DAY 1: HANOI - BA BE LAKE
This morning, we take a 4.5-hour drive to Ba Be Lake. Before reaching Ba Be National Park, we will take a short stop to refresh and have lunch at a local restaurant. Lying serenely by Ba Be lake, Pac Ngoi village is an unspoiled paradise surrounded by misty mountains and water. There, you will learn a lot about the Tay minority’s culture and lifestyle.
In mid-afternoon, we will take a 2-hour boat trip on Ba Be lake to enjoy its tranquillity and beauty. The trip includes a visit to Fairy pond and An Ma temple.
If the weather is nice, we will catch the sunset on the lake while coming back to the homestay. Then, we will have a nice dinner with local culinary. Overnight at our homestay in Pac Ngoi.

DAY 2: CAO BANG CITY - PAC BO HISTORICAL COMPLEX - GREENDOOR HOMESTAY
After lunchtime in Cao Bang city, we will depart to visit Pac Bo Historical Complex. The main historical relics in this area consist of Pac Bo, Coc Bo, Bo Bam Cave, Lenin Stream, Karl Marx Mountain, and Khuoi Nam. All are dotted in green nature. The famous Coc Bo Cave is where President Ho Chi Minh once established his residence and worked on Vietnam’s revolutionary course after returning from 30 years abroad.
We continue our drive to Trung Khanh, a district sharing a border with China and check into Green Door homestay. The day ends with the specialties prepared by your warm-hearted local host.

DAY 3: PO TAU LOCAL MARKET - BAN GIOC WATERFALL - NGUOM NGAO CAVE - CO LA WATERFALL - BAN VIET LAKE
After breakfast with roasted duck noodle soup and steamed rice rolls (if it’s a market day, we will have breakfast in Po Tau ancient market), we transfer to visit Ban Gioc waterfall (a.k.a the biggest waterfall in North Vietnam). The trip is followed by a walk into the Nguom Ngao cave and a hike to Phat Tich Truc Lam pagoda. From the pagoda, you can have the whole view of Ban Gioc Waterfall wrapped in paddy fields and mountain ranges.
Your picnic lunch today is quite close to the natural setting and in a hidden corner of Trung Khanh named Co La waterfall. After the lunch break with some leisure time, we transfer to Ban Viet lake where you will paddle the bamboo raft by yourself. Enjoy the fresh air, the gentle breeze, and the ultimate serenity of this isolated lake from the out-there life. In the late afternoon, after the sunset, we come back to Green Door homestay. Time for shower and refreshments before dinner is served.

DAY 4: PHUC SEN IRONMONGERY VILLAGE - PHIA THAP INCENSE VILLAGE - HANOI
After breakfast and checking out of Greendoor, we will take our drive to visit Phuc Sen ironmongery village and Phia Thap incense village. It’s your chance to witness some of the most well-preserved and developed traditional handcraft jobs in Cao Bang. Leaving those villages, we continue our drive further to Hanoi via Lang Son and have a lunch stop en-route at a local restaurant. We will arrive downtown in Hanoi in the evening and drop you off at your hotel. End of our services
