“Ta Xua is not just for hunting clouds. I travel to Taxua bearing in mind that I would hunt clouds and visit the “”T-rex spine”” trekking trail just like everyone else. I did not even read the itinerary, Phuong Loan Ngo had hidden it so well. And yeah, I was totally surprised by everything I saw. There are no multi-layer clouds as seen on social media, yet I had no regrets. This was the first time I could witness a terraced-rice field in such close distance, the first time I stood under a thousand-year-old camelia tree. This is also the first time I sat inside a local house and listen to stories from a local shaman.
Everything was amazing. Thanks #VietnamMountainStay for your restless efforts to help people understand and support community travel. This trip is more beautiful than hunting clouds!”
